Desperate

being 17, single, and who never had a boyfriend, have i lived? i just don't know, i'm not ugly, as what everyone tells me. i see happy couples everywhere i go, and it saddens me. all of my friends had boyfriends, but yet their standards aren't as high as mine. (maybe that's the problem). what do i do? will i ever be in a relationship? i know somewhere out in the world is the guy i will marry.
